The mica door shim kit contains six shims (three thick and three thin). Two sets are included in each physical kit to bypass the hasp on a target lock. In general, the locked door should open outward to be targeted with this tool. The shim is forced between the door hasp and the jamb, causing the hasp to retract and the door to open. Mica shims can also be forced around jamb protection during hasp bypass attempts.
